Our new dog body language postcards teach your employees how to stay safe around dogs. Each side features our blue dog in various dog body language poses that show when it is safe to Go near a dog, when to proceed with Caution, or when to Stop and avoid a dog. Dog body language poses are paired with the colors of a traffic light to make it easy for any learner to identify a safe or unsafe dog. Each postcard pack includes 50 full color 4″ x 6″ postcards printed on both sides.
What these teach
Most people misread dogs. A wagging tail doesn’t always mean friendly, and a still dog isn’t always calm. These posters and postcards put the two things that prevent bites — reading the dog, and knowing what to do — where children and adults will see them again and again.
Using dog body language, reinforces when you can safely approach a dog, when you should approach with caution, and when you should stay away.
When a strange dog approaches you — stay still, arms crossed, face away, eyes down.
Our support materials can be used with the Dogsurance occupational dog bite prevention training courses and our Reach & Teach or SAFE curriculums.
