Come – Go – Walk is part two of our basic family dog training collection. It takes recall past the easy version and into the real world — away from toys, food bowls and the front door — and covers loose-leash walking, greeting people on a walk, leave it, wait, settling on a mat and front door manners. Like part one, it includes dog bite prevention and dog safety videos made for children.

Many of these exercises are kid-friendly, but an adult should always supervise. Children under twelve should be supervised around any dog, including a family dog they have known for years.

This is not an instant fix. Every dog learns at their own pace, and repetition and consistency are what get results. This program does not address aggressive or fear-based behavior, which needs a reward-based dog training professional working with you in person.

How we train

Training the whole family can actually do

Good Dog on the Go takes the exercises a reward-based trainer would walk you through in your living room and turns them into short videos you can watch anywhere. Your dog learns through games and rewards, which is also what makes the training safe for kids to join in.

  • Every exercise is reward-based — no punishment, no dominance, no fear
  • Short videos you can rewatch as many times as you need
  • Taught as games, so practice feels like play to your dog
  • Kid-friendly exercises the whole family can take part in, with an adult supervising
  • Watch on a phone, a tablet or a computer, at home or at the park

Two things we want to be straight about

This is not an instant fix

Every dog learns at their own pace, and your circumstances will change how long some exercises take. Repetition and consistency are what get results — not a weekend.

It does not address aggression or fear-based behavior

If your dog is aggressive or fearful, that needs a reward-based dog training professional working with you in person. These courses are not a substitute for that.

FAQ

Questions dog owners ask us

How do I get access after I buy?

Right after you buy, we email you an invitation to create a password and log in to our online learning system, where your course is waiting. Watch on any phone, tablet or computer.

How long are the videos?

Short — most run a couple of minutes. Each course holds 30 or more of them, so you can watch one, go practice it, and come back for the next.

Can my kids do the training?

Many of the exercises are kid-friendly and designed to be done as games. An adult should always supervise, and children under twelve should be supervised around any dog, including a family dog they have known for years.

Do I need special equipment?

Treats and a leash to start. Some exercises use a crate, a mat or a food-dispensing toy, and the courses show you what to look for and how to use each one.

Which course should I buy first?

If you have a new puppy, Puppies 101. A newly adopted dog, Welcome Home. A rescue, Rescue Dog 101. For the basics with kids involved, Sit – Stay – Down, then Come – Go – Walk. For barking, No More Barking.

What is Tellington TTouch?

A set of gentle touch and bodywork exercises used to lower stress and help a dog settle. Several of the courses include a section on it, taught step by step on video.

Can I use this for more than one dog?

Yes. The training is yours to watch, so you can use the same exercises with any dog in your household.

Do you cover aggression or fear-based behavior?

No. Those need a reward-based dog training professional working with you and your dog in person.
