What a day! I covered 6.4 miles of the latest and greatest pet products today at the Global Pet Expo 2018, and that’s not even half the show! Besides being totally exhausted, and a bit overwhelmed, it was a fascinating look into the hottest trends in the nearly $70 billion pet care industry. What follows are my favorite products and people from day one.

A rare start with a Bengal Kitten

The day started with us finding this gorgeous Bengal kitten. He created quite a stir and had a huge crowd around him every time we got near this booth.

Talking to VetWorthy about dog toothpaste and oral care products

We love VetWorthy’s oral care products for dogs and we include them in month seven of the Good Dog subscription box for families with kids and dogs. I stopped by the VetWorthy booth to talk to Jocelyn about the companies dog peanut butter flavored toothpaste that is made in the US of US sourced ingredients.

Bissell makes cleaning your pet a breeze

Where was this product when I had a Newfoundland? Bissell is reintroducing the BarkBath QT Portable Dog Bath at Global Pet Expo. The new and improved version is quieter than the earlier version and makes giving your dog a bath a breeze. I really wish I had been able to use this product with my Newfy. Bathtime was always an ordeal of mass proportions.

Michael Breach coffee artist

We had a great time watching artist Michael Breach of Baristart turn a regular cup of coffee into a work of art. He was recreating attendees pet portraits in lattes and the like.
